How-To : Replacing Rear Bulbs

Always put safety first; using jackstands, eye protection, and all other required safety measures. It is also recommended to have supervision whenever possible.





Items Needed:
1. Phillips screwdriver
2. Cotton towel
3. Replacement bulbs
Install Time: Difficulty Level:
30 Minutes 4
Directions:
Step 1
Unscrew the rear light-bulb housing with a Phillips screwdriver.
Step 2
Remove the rear bolt from inside the car.
Step 3
Using a soft towel, pull the rear housing back with some moderate force.
Step 4
Replace the bulbs and reinstall the housing. The top bulb is for the brakes and signal indicator. The bottom one is for the reverse lamp.
